Hello fellow musicians!
I have been getting enough requests for band shirts to justify placing an order. (especially with all the new members)
Thankfully (and surprisingly) prices have not increased 🙂
The cost for the Camp shirt is $40 and the Grey polo is $28.50. This would include shipping if we have enough orders for a group order. (The price does increase $4 for any size 2XL or larger)
Please let me know at rehearsal if you would like to place an order and remember to specify which shirt, men’s or women’s, and the size. I will try to bring samples of each shirt.
Payment won’t be necessary until delivery.

The annual dues for band members is $100, payable by:

Background
Please remember that our band is a non-profit corporation that requires a steady revenue stream to keep up with expenses such as insurance, director stipends, music, replacement equipment, bank fees, guest artists, and even a P.O. box. Steady revenue streams have come and gone over the many years since the band was formed. The first was the City of Orange. When this source ceased, Randy Coleman formed a Rancho Santiago Community College class funded by band member enrollment fees. Due to insurance and legal issues, this relationship ended, leaving the band without a reliable revenue source. For many years, the band has relied on honorariums for performance, member & non-member donations and some corporate matching donation funds of members. Unfortunately, these sources have decreased over the years, especially due to the dwindling number of gigs for the Jazz Band.
We have resisted as long as possible, but the band needs a funding source that will, unfortunately, need to come from its members until a reliable revenue source is established.
Of course, we are constantly looking for other steady revenue sources so as not to rely on annual dues from our members.
